This Christmas has been the first one without me feeling sad and sorry for myself. Not because it is so bad and terrible. Because it is so nice and wonderful. With my background, celebrating Christmas with my warm and loving family-in-law has so far been a struggle between feelings of happiness and pain. This year though, I was able to fully enjoy it! Me happy! So a big ‘thank you’ is in order!
Going out for dinner is my nr. 1 favourite activity. I love good food, good wine, a pleasant atmosphere, and I love all of that even more when I can share the experience with my loved ones.
After some time though, I began to notice that I was always going to the same restaurants. Trying out new places was not something I did often, mostly out of fear the food would be a disappointment. Now that is something that can ruin my evening completely! But a few years ago, things started to change.
Tupalo was grounded by two friends of mine in 2006 – if I am not mistaken. They started small with mapping Vienna, then Austria and are now conquering the world!

This evening turned out te be an eye-opener, for I have watched two short erotic movies by Jennifer Lyon Bell – Blue Artichoke Films – and I have instantly become her number 1 fan.
I wanted to watch the films together with my partner, but he had to raid in World of Warcraft, so I decided to watch them while he played. He told me it was a bit hard for him to concentrate, for he could hear the moanings of course, but then every one has his or her priorities

Maybe I will be a good girl and watch them again with him when he has finished. I would like a man’s opinion anyway, for this is something else indeed.
The first film I watched, “Matinee”, is a 34 minute story about two stage actors who have gotten a negative review in the papers. They play lovers, but the chemistry is not there. During the next show, in front of a small audience, they try to work on the chemistry and have sex.
The way they have sex and the way it is filmed, is as realistic as it can be. The foreplay, the sex itself, the moanings, it is all real. In fact, it is the loving kind of sex, something a person who is in a loving sexual relationship can relate to.
The actors are attractive, charismatic, but still normal like you and me. And there are no distractions: no background music, no talking, just two people having sex in a bed, with all the normal sounds and facial expressions people make while they are at it.
You might already have guessed this is not the regular soft- or hardcore porn. It also does not have the same effect, which is exactly what hit me this evening: normal porn, meaning the porn we all know, makes the viewer want to have an orgasm. You watch it because you are horny – or want to get horny – and then you want to come. It’s a very self-centered experience, at least that is how it works for me. Maybe that is also the reason why I find it hard to watch regular porn with my parter.
Watching “Matinee” though, you get the desire to have sex with another person, the person you are in love with and long for. You want to kiss, you want to touch, to be touched… An all together different, lustful feeling.
The same goes for “Headshot”. Here you see a cute looking guy sitting on a chair. He is a bit nervous, you can tell. A girl comes and they start talking. You don’t see her though, you only see his face. He asks her why she wants to do this, and she says she simply likes sex and enjoys giving blow jobs. Then she gives him one.
If you read the backside of the DVD box, you know that the purpose of this 9 minute movie is to find out if a sex scene in which you don’t see the sexual act itself, can be hot. Well, I tell you: after seeing “Headshot”, I felt very much inspired to give a blow job too 
. So yes!
What is so nice about it, is that you see him giving in to the experience, and mhh is he enjoying it… He does not make a silly porn face or produce weird sounds: what you see, is truthful. And after he has come, he gets even cuter! The way he looks at the invisible girl, the flickering in his eyes, what he says to her about how he is feeling… it is simply great (and not only because he speaks Dutch). That’s how you want your partner to respond after you have giving him one!
These two films are something special. You don’t get the urge to masturbate while watching them. You get the urge to do what they do, for you recognize what they do and what they must feel. I think that is the key.
In general I feel that anyone who is interested in a new type of erotic movies, should see both “Headshot” and “Matinee”, asap! And don’t forget to watch the “Matinee” making of!

About a year ago, when I started to show more interest in pornography – mostly because of my book – a friend of mine suggested to watch Pirates. She said it was funny, hot, with pretty girls and not so ugly men. If I wanted to, she could arrange for me to see it. Being silly, I thought I was not ready to watch an adult DVD just yet.
Some months later I went to a shop to have a look at it. It interested me, but the perfect women on the cover made me feel insecure. The price convinced me not to buy it (it costed almost 80 euro’s!).
Not so long ago I discovered we have a copy of Pirates at the shop. Hmm… should I, should I not… Today it was time to ’should’ it.
I watched the whole movie, although at some crucial points it got stuck in the DVD player – meaning I had to forward some scenes. Made me wonder how often the movie had been watched already
And, what is my judgement? Best professional adult movie I have seen so far.
- Very funny story, I laughed a lot!
- Especially the men played their roles (story-wise) well.
- Very sexy sex scenes: yes, the women have the perfect bodies we don’t have, and breasts that are probably not 100% real, but the men looked very good too. The male performance surely appealed to me
-The girl-girl scenes are a bit more rough than usual, which I also found good. Can imagine these scenes to be quite nice for lesbians.
- Deep throat without gagging sounds = 10 full points!
- Use of condoms, but you hardly see them so it is not distracting = also 10 points.
- The background music did not distract or bother me at all. It is very well chosen – not silly or stupid, or the obvious saxophone sounds of the eighties.
- If you like male moaning: one of the actors (not the hottest one, but oh well…) does a great job 
- Tiny negative point: the female moaning and ‘talking-during’ is typical American style, but… oh well… it is simply worth watching.
I can recommend this movie for women to watch on their own (or maybe together with Aphrodite…?) and couples, both hetero and lesbian, who want to see real porn and have a good laugh in between.
P.S.: a second negative point: no Johnny Depp

“Constance” had been fascinating me for months now. The pictures on the DVD box looked sexy, so last week I took her home with me. Today, on my day off, I decided to watch it. There is not much of a story. In essence Constance is a young woman who reads an erotic book. What you see is her visualization of what happens in the story. In most romatic books for women, the dark haired woman is the bad and evil one. In this case it is a blonde female demon called Lola who seduces her in her fantasies and makes Constance give in into the darkness of lust.
This Danish production (you gotta love “Puzzy Power Production”, but I have a better name coming up) contains one party scene, which I skipped because I don’t like masks and such. Most scenes are with a beautiful red head woman, and one to three men who also look quite okay (read: not unattractive and with realistic bodies/equipment).
It is definately a woman-couple-friendly film. The men are all into pleasing the women, there is no gagging during oral sex or loud, unbelievable moaning and they practise safe sex. I have not seen an anal scene either, but maybe I was on the toilet when it happened
After the cum shots the actors cuddle and carress eachother, which I think is a nice detail. You see everything up close, but the shots are not very long and more meant for teasing I think. All in all, it certainly gives you the impression the women, and the men, are enjoying themselves.
If you are a woman who has never watched a more serious adult movie, or you want to try one seeing together with your partner, “Constance” is very recommendable. For the more advanced viewers it might be a bit too boring, for the repertoire in every scene is quite predictable and nothing new is added. When it comes to male viewers, I guess the romantic types will like it. The women sure look hot, so why not make your girlfriend happy and watch it with her. Who knows what it will lead to…
No, I do not go to conventions or dress up. But yes, I am and always will be a proud Trekkie. Especially after seeing the new Star Trek movie, The Future Begins, in the cinema last night.
After the slightly disappointing Star Trek Nemesis, this film is in one word: amazing. It is exciting and funny, and the characters – against my expectations I may add – were s000 recognizable. Mc Coy, being played by Karl Urban, was in my opinion the best. One can so imagine Bones being and behaving just like that when he was a young man. But I have to be honest here: all actors portraying the first Star Trek characters were great.
The story itself totally fits to the original Star Trek genre, making me long to see those out-of-date series and films again. Woah, I can’t wait until it is out on DVD! Must have!
